After earning a Bachelor of Dental Science from the Faculty of Dentistry at the Jordan University of Science and Technology, Dr. Al-Taani was awarded a research fellowship from the Indiana University School of Dentistry and a grant from the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. During his residency at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Dayton, Ohio, he honed his considerable clinical skills in areas ranging from periodontics (gum treatment) to endodontics (root canals) to oral surgery and prosthodontics (extractions and dentures). Dr. Al-Taani furthered his studies through numerous hours of ongoing education involving:
