Dr. Poe graduated from West Virginia University in 1995. He provides comprehensive, gentle care and take continuing education courses in cosmetic dentistry. He enjoys water fishing, oil painting and spending time with his wife and two children.
Dr. James Smith, Your Wilmington Dentist
James N. Smith M.H.A., M.B.A., D.M.D., received his Doctoral of Dental Medicine from the University of Pittsburgh in 1982. Dr. Smith, who is a highly skilled dentist, spent 16 years as the Senior Dental Director for Dental Care Partners and even now, continues to mentor Doctors throughout North Carolina. He resides in Wilmington, NC with his wife Laura. Together they have 3 children Gina, Maria and Elisa.
Dr. Smith regularly attends continuing education courses, keeping up with the latest innovations in dentistry especially in the areas of root canals, implants, cosmetic dentistry, crown and bridge and lumineers. In his spare time, Dr. Smtih has enjoyed the success of being a professional country song writer and has had many of his songs recorded.
Dr. Smith joined DentalWorks in 1991 and is now a dental partner at the Wilmington , NC office. He also travels to the Jacksonville, NC location where he performs root canal therapy. Dr. Smith’s personal philosophy for his practice is to provide comprehensive, gentle dental care at the highest level of quality and service.
Dr. Benson J. Ybanez, Your Wilmington Dentist
Dr. Ybanez graduated from West Virginia University. He specializes in dental implants and oral surgery as well as cosmetic dentistry and prosthetic (removable) dentistry. Dr. Ybanez is married with two children. A saltwater fishing enthusiast who participates in the Southern Kingfish Association Tournament Trail, he also enjoys traveling in his spare time.
