Tera Wiggins, D.D.S. is a General Dentist.
Dr. Tera Wiggins believes in providing dental care that meets the individual needs of each of her patients. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Dr. Wiggins continued her education at Howard University in Washington, D.C. where she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2012.
Dr. Wiggins loves making a difference in the lives of her patients and wants to help her patients achieve and maintain beautiful smiles. She strives for excellence in general dentistry with a particular interest in orthodontics and children’s dentistry. Dr. Wiggins is also currently a member of the Delta Phi Sigma Sorority, a dental sorority at Howard University.
When she isn’t practicing dentistry, Dr. Wiggins enjoys traveling and watching movies. She lives by Erma Bombeck’s words, “When I stand before God at the end of my life, I would hope that I would not have a single bit of talent left, and I could say ‘I used everything you gave me.’”
James N. Smith, D.M.D., is a General Dentist.
Dr. James N. Smith received his Doctoral of Dental Medicine from the University of Pittsburgh in 1982. Dr. Smith, who is a highly skilled dentist, spent 16 years as the Senior Dental Director for DentalWorks. He resides in Wilmington, North Carolina, with his wife Laura. Together they have three children: Gina, Maria, and Elisa. Dr. Smith enjoys keeping up with the latest innovations in dentistry, especially in the areas of orthodontics, root canals, implants, cosmetic dentistry, crowns and bridges. In his spare time, Dr. Smith has enjoyed the success of being a professional country songwriter and has had many of his songs recorded. Dr. Smith joined DentalWorks in 1991. He is a partner at the Wilmington office. Dr. Smith’s personal philosophy for his practice is to provide comprehensive, gentle dental care at the highest level of quality and service.
The DentalWorks Wilmington dental facility is centrally located in Wilmington, NC. Comfortable and relaxing, we welcome patients of all ages and walks of life to our facility.
