Dr. Sameen Mujtaba uses her experience to provide the highest level of dental care in a gentle, compassionate manner.
Dr. Mujtaba earned her Bachelor of Science degree in polymer and color chemistry at North Carolina State University in 2012. She chose her specialized degree in chemistry because of her love for science, and she was able to learn about the chemicals used in many dental products such as how masks and gowns are made. After undergrad, she then earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at Midwestern University in Illinois in 2017.
Dr. Mujtaba learned dentistry was the career she wanted to pursue because it is a health science that also requires great hand coordination. She was always artistic and subjects such as biology came easy to her. She sees dentistry as a great combination of both science and art.
Dr. Mujtaba takes continuing education courses in cosmetic, prosthetic, oral surgery and endodontics. She is a member of the American Dental Association and South Carolina Dental Association.
In her free time, Dr. Mujtaba loves spending time with her family and friends, painting, reading and doing yoga. She also has volunteered at different Mission of Mercy clinics for almost a decade.

We understand the longer dental practices remain closed to preventive care and treatment for early forms of dental disease, the more likely that patients’ untreated disease will progress, increasing the complexity and cost of treatment. It is recommended by the CDC that you minimize the number of visits by completing as much of your recommended treatment during your appointment.
