Meet Our Dentists

Jennifer Crespo Gonzalez, DDS

> Biography

Dr. Crespo, born and raised in Puerto Rico, brings a wealth of experience in clinical and service excellence to the DentalWorks team. Her professional career started with an undergraduate degree in Science at Interamerican University, P.R., in 1997. She then earned her advanced degree, Doctorate in Dental Surgery, from Iberoamerican University, D.R., in 2005. From there she attended post graduate studies in Endodontics at Iberoamerican University between 2005 and 2007. Her General Practice residency training took place in Northside Hospital Valley Care System from 2009 to 2010 and in Saint Elizabeth Health Center (Level 1 Trauma Hospital) from 2010 to 2011. Dr. Crespo is a member of American Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry. She has demonstrated her commitment to professional excellence by participating in a study group. Dr. Crespo is fluent in both English and Spanish. When not practicing dentistry, Dr. Crespo enjoys trail running, skiing and traveling. She has successfully completed two marathons, a 50K, and twenty half marathons.

Pooja Bhardwaj, DDS

> Biography

Dr. Pooja Walia Bhardwaj earned her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Washington in 2010. She went on to earn her Doctor of Dental Surgery in 2014 from the University of Washington. Dr. Bhardwaj performed her residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry at Case Western Reserve University. She attends various Continued Education Courses with emphasis in implant and cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Bhardwaj is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry and the American Dental Association. When not practicing dentistry Dr. Bhardwaj enjoys spending time with her family and traveling.

Jiafeng Gu, DDS

> Biography

Dr. Jiafeng Gu earned his medical degree from Fudan University in China in 2004. After earning his PhD degree in molecular biology from University of Southern California in 2009, he went on to attend Columbia University for his DDS degree. He then finished orthodontic specialty training from The Ohio State University with a Master of Science degree. His thesis at OSU was on evaluation of Invisalign treatment effectiveness and efficiency. Dr. Gu has demonstrated commitment to providing people with beautiful and confident smiles with state of art techniques. He received numerous academic awards, including New York Academy of Dentistry Exemplary Professional Conduct Award, Academy of Operative Dentistry Award and Milton G. Schlesinger Research Excellence Award etc. He was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU) National Dental Honor Society at Columbia University. He served as oral session chair at 2011 IADR general session in San Diego. He has published more than 10 scientific articles and presented at multiple conferences. Dr. Gu is a member of American Association of Orthodontists and American Dental Association. In his spare time, Dr. Gu and his wife Lin enjoy traveling or cooking and reading at home.
