Meet Our Dentists

Philip J. Riesselman, DDS

> Biography

Dr. Phillip J. Riesselman earned his Bachelor of Science degree at Regis University of Denver in May of 1972. He went on to achieve his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Loyola University in Chicago in 1976. Dr. Riesselman has demonstrated commitment to continuing education in dentistry and has taken advanced courses in implantology, endodontics, and aesthetics. He is a current member of the Colorado Prosthodontic Society, the Metro Denver Dental Society, the Colorado Dental Society, and the American Dental Society. Dr. Riesselman enjoys working on his property and his garden. He enjoys camping in all areas of Colorado and looks forward to new fishing streams or lakes. He and his wife look forward to taking an annual trip to St. Thomas to enjoy the U.S. Virgin Islands. He enjoys using his equipment on his property and creating new landscaping at his house. He is extremely involved with his church and works on the security team there. He has six grandchildren and three stepgrandchildren. He has been married to his wife Jeanne for five years. He has been and is a current member of the Douglas County Fair Board, where he serves as the livestock sale chairman and conducts an annual auction at the fair.

Saffa F. Alani, DDS

> Biography

Saffa Alani, DDS graduated with Honors from University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine in 2013. She received her Bachelor of Dental Surgery Degree in 2005 at Jordan University of Science and Technology. Dr. Alani is dedicated to providing her patients with a gentle, caring and comprehensive approach to oral health care. Dr. Alani also received Excellence in Pediatric Dentistry Award. Dr. Alani is a member of the American Dental Association, Colorado Dental Association, Metro Denver Dental Society, and Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society. Dr. Alani is married and has a son and a daughter. In her free time she enjoys cooking, outdoor activities and exploring the Colorado Mountains.

Jennifer Haskell, DMD

> Biography

Dr. Jennifer Haskell received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology and Anthropology in 2004. She went on to earn both a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree and a Master of Science degree simultaneously from the University of Louisville in 2008. In 2010 Dr. Haskell completed her specialty education in orthodontics at the University of Rochester to become a Certified Orthodontist. She is a member of the AAO, ADA, CDA, and MDDS. She is also an Edward H. Angle Society Affiliate Member. Dr. Haskell completed research that has been published in several medical journals. She has demonstrated her commitment to professional excellence by staying abreast of the latest dental technology and participating in continuing education courses. She has a special interest in the area of sleep apnea prevention through early treatment, but enjoys working with all orthodontic patients with all varieties of needs. Dr. Haskell and her husband, Ronen, have a dog named Poly. When not practicing orthodontics or working on her research she enjoys rock climbing, hiking, painting, singing and playing the viola.

John M. Justus, DDS

> Biography

Dr. John M. Justus received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Missouri at Kansas City in 1979. He completed an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery internship at St. John’s Medical Center in St. Louis, Missouri, in 1981. Dr. Justus has limited his practice to providing basic oral surgery procedures for the Colorado area DentalWorks practices.
