Meet Our Dentists

Demat Fazil, DDS

> Biography

Dr. Demat Fazil received her Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2010. She then went on to earn her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2014 at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. Additionally, she completed a one year general practice residency program in 2015 at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago, IL. Dr. Fazil enjoys providing comprehensive dental care to her patients to help them achieve optimal dental health and is a Member of American Dental Association and the Chicago Dental Society. In her spare time, Dr. Fazil indulges in many interests including cooking, working out, reading, vacationing, and spending time with her family and friends.

Pirooz Zomorrodi, DDS

> Biography

Dr. Zomorrodi studied medicine at the University of Rome - La Sapienza, Italy, from 1985 to 1987. He then completed undergraduate studies in Microbiology and Chemistry at San Diego State University 1992. Dr. Zomorrodi was granted his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Northwestern University Dental School in 1996. He is certified by the Northeast Regional Board of Dental Examiners. He has been practicing all aspects of cosmetic and family dentistry in Chicago and surrounding suburbs over the past 18 years. He enjoys his involvement with organized dentistry, and he is a member of the American Dental Association, the Illinois State Dental Society, the Chicago Dental Society, and the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, and is also a member of the Naperville Chamber of Commerce. Dr. Zomorrodi continually pursues personal excellence in quality patient care through participation in national and international seminars, lectures, and ongoing continuing education. He has mastered the latest techniques in cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Zomorrodi is married and lives with his wife and one son in Arlington Heights.

Michael Albazzaz, DDS

Dr. Michael Albazzaz received his Bachelors of Arts in Education at Concordia University, River Forest, IL in 1996. He then graduated in 2005 from the University of Illinois at Chicago with his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Dr. Albazzaz specializes in orthodontics. He continues his education focusing on Orthodontic Appliances, temporary anchorage devises and Invisalign. He has been the recipient of the American Institute of Orthodontics research Award, Quintessence Award for Research achievement and many other honors. Dr. Albazzaz and his wife Rina live in Des Plaines, IL since 2011. In his spare time, Dr. Albazzaz enjoys hiking, cycling, art and photography.

Vasilios Valis, DDS

> Biography

Dr. Valis graduated from the Loyola University of Chicago's Stritch School of Medicine in 1993. He joined DentalWorks in 1994 and has been practicing general dentistry for over 20 years. Dr. Valis is a member of the American Dental Association, the Illinois Dental Society, and the Chicago Dental Society. He is proficient in all aspects of general dentistry, along with restoration of many types of dental implants. Dr. Valis has proven to be a very informative and caring dentist. Continually seeking to improve his skills and knowledge, Dr. Valis stresses continuing education and implementing new dental techniques that are proven and workable. He enjoys attending sporting events and traveling with his amazing wife, to whom he has been happily married for 15 years. Dr. Valis is also fluent in Greek and speaks some Spanish.

Charles J. Zasso, DDS

Dr. Charles J. Zasso received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at Northwestern University in 1988. He received his Fellowship with the Academy of General Dentistry in 2001. In 2009 he completed his Master of Business Administration at Northwestern University. Dr. Zasso has demonstrated his commitment to professional excellence through continuing education with a special interest in cosmetic dentistry. Before joining DentalWorks in 1992, he worked in a private practice focused on cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Zasso lives in Lincolnwood with his wife Connie. They have three beautiful children, Alex, Julia, and Sarah. When he isn't working, Dr. Zasso enjoys playing golf, hiking, and exercising.
