Dr. Akosua Boatemaa, also known as Dr. B., is a native of the Dallas Forth-Worth area. Her parents are originally from Ghana, West Africa.
Dr. B earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Dartmouth College and majored in the psychological and brain sciences in 2008. Following her undergraduate degree, Dr. B received her Masters of Biomedical Sciences at the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth. She then continued her education at Texas A&M Baylor College of Dentistry where she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2018.

To stay up to date, Dr. Boatemaa participates in continuing education courses covering root canals, Invisalign, oral surgery, and bone grafting, as well as dental prosthetics. She is Invisalign certified and has experience in root canal therapy, restorative dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, veneers, implants restorations, surgical extractions, dentures, and periodontal needs. She is a member of the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association, and the National Dental Association.
When Dr. B isn’t at the office, she enjoys cooking, traveling, playing basketball, attending church events, and spending time with her friends and family, particularly her loving husband and son.
