Originally from Romania, Dr. Alina Nedea moved to Sacramento, California in 2006, after successfully having practiced dentistry in her family’s private practice in Bucharest, Romania.
With the goal of further expanding her knowledge and continuing her education, Dr. Nedea attended the University of California Los Angeles and obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2011.She then went on tocomplete the advanced education in general dentistry (AEGD) residency program at the University of Texas in San Antonio. As a second generation dentist, she strives to continue the strong work ethic and integrity practiced by both her parents in their community.
Her focus is to provide gentle dental care to her patients while educating them on the importance of having a healthy oral cavity and how it relates to their overall health and wellbeing.
When she is not practicing dentistry, Dr. Nedea enjoys reading and traveling to Europe with her husband. She also loves classical music and is a huge fan of the Houston Symphony. Dr. Nedea has also volunteered for several nonprofit organizations such as Rebuilding Together, Walk for Love and Dress for Success.
