Dr. Alon Shalev is a periodontist surgeon and is committed to quality patient care, always keeping the patient’s best interest.
Dr. Shalev earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the Lithuanian University of Health Sciences in 2005. In 2010, Dr. Shalev earned his Masters of Health Management from the Ben-Gurion University and then went on to earn his periodontics certificate specialty training at the Advanced Education Program in Periodontology at the University of Minnesota in 2019 along which he earned a Masters of Science in Dentistry.
Dr. Shalev found his passion for dentistry by watching his dad who is also a dentist. He ran multiple offices mainly focusing on esthetic and implant dentistry, as well as he was Head of Dental Affairs in a hospital in Israel treating very complex cases. Dr. Shalev loves that dentistry is a combination of science and art that brings the passion of both worlds.
Dr. Shalev is mainly interested in implant dentistry, cosmetic dentistry and micro-surgery. He is a member of the American Academy of Periodontology and published multiple papers in major manuscripts in his field.
In his free time, Dr. Shalev enjoys traveling with his family, wife and two kids and exploring new places, sports and fine cuisine. He also enjoys volunteering by providing dental care to veterans suffering from PTSD. Dr. Shalev lectures and teaches continuing education courses.
