Dr. Amy Hassan provides patients with the latest evidence-based care while fostering a caring relationship with them.
Dr. Hassan earned her Bachelor of Arts degree at Stony Brook University in 2011. She then went on to earn her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Maryland in 2016. During her two years of dental residency, she served one of those years as chief of dental residency practice at New York University Winthrop Hospital.
We asked Dr. Hassan why she chose dentistry as her profession. “Dentistry is often referred to as an art,” said Dr. Hassan. She continued, “It requires mastery and technique unique to the profession. It is largely based on maintaining proper oral health but is also an aesthetically-focused practice. A large part of dentistry involves restoring teeth and making a smile beautiful and creating an outcome like that for my patients puts a smile on my face.”
Dr. Hassan is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry and the American Dental Association.
