Dr. Caroline Stern believes in providing dental care that meets the individual needs of each of her patients.
Dr. Stern earned her bachelor’s degree in Spanish and minors in chemistry, biological sciences and leadership at the University of Denver in 2013. She then earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine in 2018.
“I love the combination of artistry and science that goes into being a dentist. I love being able to work with my hands and think creatively on my feet, while applying my love for medicine,” Dr. Stern said when asked why she chose dentistry as her profession. She continued, “Another reason I love dentistry is the immediacy with which problems can be solved and patients can find relief. Lastly, I love that dentistry allows me to prioritize my family and friends who I love.
Dr. Stern takes continuing education courses that keep her up to date on the latest techniques and technology. She is a member of many organizations including American Dental Association, Colorado Dental Association, CDA’s New Dentist Committee, Metro Denver Dental Society, Hispanic Dental Association, American Academy of Public Health Dentistry and Delta Sigma Delta Dental Fraternity.
In her free time, Dr. Stern enjoys trying new foods, volunteering, yoga, Pilates and hiking with her dog named Millie. It’s important to her to stay involved in a variety of volunteer experiences; she currently volunteers with the Denver Rescue Mission as a meal server. In past, she’s volunteered her time and efforts on mission trips and with multiple dental groups, serving the community any way she can. Most of all, she enjoys volunteer work that focuses on getting underserved community members access to health care and translating for Spanish-speaking patients.
Dr. Stern’s favorite quote is by Henry David Thoreau, “Go confidently in the direction of your dreams. Life the life you’ve imagined.”
