Dr. Smith received his dental degree from the University of Michigan in 1990 and a general practice residency certificate from the Bethesda Naval Hospital the following year. A member of the DentalWorks team since 2002, he continues to take courses on the latest developments in dental technology and techniques, particularly those involving molar root canals and oral surgery. An avid golfer who also enjoys riding trail bikes, Dr. Smith lives in Waterford with his wife Tanya.
