Hira Khan

Dr. Hira Khan earned her dental degree from the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine in 2018 with an award of excellence in Implant Prosthodontics. She completed her undergrad from Pakistan; Bachelor’s in dental surgery in 2013 graduating among the top ten of her class.

Dr. Khan aspired to become a dentist to be able to make a difference in her community. “Dentistry is just not treatment of dental problems; as a dentist, I can help my patients improve their overall well-being and health. A healthy mouth is a gateway to a healthy body,” stated Dr. Khan.

“As a dentist, I have been very keen and passionate about learning principles of Orognathic Bioesthetics. This aims at learning the key concepts of jaw joints pathophysiology and its correlation with attrition of teeth, clenching, grinding/bruxism, sleep apnea, chronic headaches/ migraines, and their treatment. In order to learn the highest standards of these skills, I have completed level II series at Orognathic Bioesthetics International and have been a level III trainee,” said Dr. Khan.

Dr. Khan believes in giving back to her community. She is a commissioned officer in the US Navy Reserves Dental Corps and an active member of Humanity First, USA. To keep up with her continuous learning, Dr. Khan stays connected with the Academy of General Dentistry, Invisalign Academy, Texas Dental Association, and Orognathic Bioesthetics International.

Outside of work, you can find Dr. Khan outdoors, with friends and family, hiking or biking!
