Lorena Lavarne

Dr. Lavarne

Dr. Lorena Yoko Lavarne has dedicated her life to making people smile. She earned her first degree in biology from California State University in 1986. She then furthered her education at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine when she earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 1991. Dr. Lavarne has chosen to focus her dentistry talents on facial esthetics. As such, she is a proud member of the American Academy of Facial Esthetics (AAFE) where she regularly attends classes in esthetics and full mouth reconstruction.

In addition to her membership with AAFE, Dr. Lavarne is also an involved member of the American Dental Association and the American Academy of Sleep Medicine.

Dr. Lavarne was inspired to become a Dentist when she observed a wonderful pediatric Dentist treat her brother who has Down syndrome. Since then, Dr. Lavarne has made it a personal and professional commitment to serve others to the best of her ability.

Between spending time with her husband and two precious yorkipoos, Dr. Lavarne still finds time to volunteer at the Special Olympics Florida. In her free time, she enjoys reading and is a self-described “avid reader”. She also likes to cook and take trips to the mountains, and she will occasionally lend her services as a feng shui consultant.
