Mary Savoy

Dr. Savoy

the last 27 years, Dr. Mary Savoy has been providing the highest level of quality dental care. She has always enjoyed working with her hands. As a child, she kept very busy doing arts and crafts and especially enjoyed making miniature furniture for a Victorian dollhouse she built when she was 12. Dr. Savoy found that Dentistry made a positive impact on her life after she spent years in braces and had some treatment done to replace congenitally missing teeth. She was happy to show off her new smile by the time she finished High School in Ames, Iowa.

Dr. Savoy earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology at the University of Notre Dame in 1986 where she also studied art and French. It was during this time that Dr. Savoy decided that a career in dentistry would combine her love of intricate, detailed work with her background in science. She then earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Iowa College of Dentistry in 1991. After practicing dentistry in Iowa and Wisconsin for seven years, Dr. Savoy relocated to Colorado in 1998 to join two of her younger brothers. As the oldest of five children, she moved to be closer to her family.

Dr. Savoy enjoys taking continuing education courses in a variety of areas including esthetics, implant dentistry, pediatric dentistry, and occlusion. She is a member of the American Dental Association, Colorado Dental Association, Metropolitan Denver Society, and American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.

her free time, Dr. Savoy enjoys practicing yoga, hiking, mountain biking, exploring the U.S. and traveling the world. She has three children ages 28, 23, and 14. Only her youngest still lives at home. She enjoys volunteering at her youngest son’s school and recently spent two weeks participating in a Humanitarian Medical Mission in Taksindu, Nepal where she provided dental care to local Nepalese people who have little access to Medical and Dental treatment.

Her favorite quote is, “In the middle of every difficulty lies opportunity.” –Albert Einstein
