Dr. Melanie Loehrlein grew up in the Plano area and is excited to serve the community she grew up in. Dr. Melanie received her Bachelor of Arts degree in biology and minor in visual arts at the University of Texas at Dallas. Throughout college she worked in the dental field as a Registered Dental Assistant. This experience confirmed her interest in dentistry and solidified her desire to provide quality care to patients. After college graduation, she attended dental school at Texas A&M Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas.
While in dental school, Dr. Melanie participated in multiple community outreach programs through North Dallas Shared Ministries, Mission East Dallas and The Agape Clinic, which provide dental care to the underserved. She was selected by faculty members to serve as a peer mentor, elected by peers to serve as a class officer and was also active in the Delta Sigma Delta dental fraternity and the Texas Association of Women Dentists. She is currently a member of the American Dental Association, North Texas Dental Association and the Texas Dental Association. Dr. Melanie is committed to providing comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages and enjoys creating a comfortable environment for patients and their families.
Dr. Melanie lives in Dallas with her husband. In her spare time, she enjoys being with her family, tending to her cactus garden, and creating art. She is very active in the Dallas art community.
