Dr. Nelson R. Núñez earned his Bachelor of Science degree in 1997 from the University of Puerto Rico and the Bachelor in nursing from The Inter-American University of Puerto Rico in 2002. After a successful 11 year military career with the US army Dr. Núñez earned his D.M.D. from University of Puerto Rico Medical Science Campus School of Dental Medicine in 2010. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association, and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. Dr. Núñez has a thirst for knowledge in the field of dentistry, dedicating himself to continuing education courses in oral surgery and bone regeneration methods, dental implants surgery and restorations for both partial and full mouth restoration, Endodontics, cosmetic dentistry, intra-oral photography and Orthodontics. When he does have free time, Dr. Núñez enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons, running, checking out live sporting events, and volunteering in the community to educate people on the importance of oral health and oral cancer prevention.
