Dr. Paula Ortiz has been practicing periodontics for ten years and is experienced in all aspects of periodontics and dental implants. She was born and raised in Colombia and decided to attend dental school early on. She received her dental degree from The Institute of Health Sciences in Medellin, Colombia in 1997. Then, she worked with the underserved rural communities for the next year. Afterwards, she joined a periodontal residency program in Colombia and then relocated to the United States where she completed her training in Periodontics and Masters of Science in Dentistry at the prestigious Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. Since graduating from Case, Dr. Ortiz has devoted her time to private and group practice all while holding a faculty position at Texas A&M Baylor College of Dentistry since 2009.
Doctor Ortiz has been married to her husband for eighteen years and they have three children together. In her free time, Dr. Ortiz enjoys reading, cooking, riding her bike and traveling all alongside her husband and children. She is fully committed to providing excellent treatment and providing state of the art and compassionate care.
