Dr. Quinton Slaughter was born and raised in Memphis, TN. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in biomedical sciences and a minor degree in Spanish from Auburn University in Auburn, AL. He then attended Meharry Medical College School of Dentistry in Nashville where he obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery, graduating at the top of his class and becoming a member of the dental honor society Omicron Kappa Upsilon in 2011. During his tenure in dental school, Dr. Slaughter was also the recipient of numerous awards including AAOMS outstanding dental student achievement and International Congress of Oral Implantologists Award for excellence. During his dental school experience, Dr. Slaughter found a passion for surgery through different internship and shadowing opportunities. This led to furthering his education by specializing in the field of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. Dr. Slaughter attended Texas Tech University School of Medicine were he obtained his Doctor of Medicine degree in 2014. He then completed his internship in general surgery at Baylor University Medical Center in 2015. His training concluded with a certificate in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at Texas A&M University Baylor College of Dentistry.

Dr. Slaughter specializes in wisdom teeth removal, implants, bone grafting reconstruction, oral pathology, trauma surgery, as well as orthognathic and TMJ surgery. He enjoys traveling, biking and spending time with family and friends in his spare time.
