Dr. Scott Summerlin earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at Texas A&M in 1984. He went on to achieve his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center in 1988. Dr. Summerlin completed a two-year general practice residency in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, at the Bowman Gray School of Medicine in July of 1990. This residency focused on advanced dental education and hospital dentistry. Dr. Summerlin relocated to the North Texas area after completing his residency. He is married to Suzanna and has five children. He stays active in the community through coaching youth sports. He has coached his kids in baseball, softball, and soccer. He holds a state D coaching license in soccer and is active in the Bedford-Euless Soccer Association.
