Raised on a farm in Eastern North Dakota, Dr. Shannon Galegher attended Minnesota State University Moorhead for an undergraduate degree in Health and Medical Sciences. While earning that degree, she also competed for the school’s varsity basketball team, a sport she continues to enjoy playing. After moving to Colorado, she earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine and was licensed through the Western Regional Examination Board.
She currently is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Colorado Dental Association, and the Metro Denver Dental Society. Dr. Galegher enjoys providing high quality and detail-oriented care for her patients. She and the team at Hilltop Dental strive to create an environment where patients can feel comfortable receiving care and asking questions to better understand and care for their mouths.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Galegher enjoys spending time exploring what Colorado has to offer – skiing, hiking, and sampling the big city’s many attractions. And for a dentist, she has quite the sweet tooth! As a result, she enjoys baking both family recipes and new ones she comes across. But of course, everything in moderation.
