Dr. Wendy Vu Steger provides quality dental care in a comfortable environment. She always keeps her patients as her No. 1 priority. Dentistry has been and continues to be very fulfilling for Dr. Steger because it gives her the ability to build relationships with her patients and work with her hands.
Dr. Steger earned her undergraduate degree in biochemistry at the University of Texas at Austin in 2009. She continued her education at Texas A&M Health Science Center in 2012 where she earned her master’s degree in biomedical science. She completed her education at Texas A&M Baylor College of Dentistry in 2017 where she earned her Doctor of Dentistry degree. During dental school, she received many awards including, Community Leadership, Delta Dental Student Leadership, General Dentistry and Texas Association of Women Dentist.
Her favorite quote was once stated by Nelson Mandela, “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.” Dr. Steger uses her education and talents by volunteering with local and state organizations at public health events including, Texas Mission of Mercy, Give Kids a Smile, Operation East Texas, Remote Area Medical and the Special Olympics.
Born in Toronto, Ontario, Dr. Steger moved to Austin, Texas as a young child and consequently considers herself a true Texan. She spends the majority of her spare time with her husband and three dogs named Coco Puffs, Mocha Latte and Honeymee. She enjoys cooking, baking and challenging herself in the kitchen with a new recipe. Her love of arts and crafts keeps her pinning away on Pinterest. She leads a healthy lifestyle and is a self-proclaimed yoga enthusiast.
