Dr. Tun

Dr. Wint Tun grew up in Myanmar, better known as Burma, one of the most beautiful countries in South East Asia. She is a first-generation Orthodontist in her family; she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from one of the world-renowned universities – the University of California, San Francisco. She graduated with honors from UCSF’s School of Dentistry. Dr. Tun then completed her three-year orthodontic residency at her alma mater – the UCSF’s Division of Orthodontics. She treated an extensive number of complex orthodontic cases from craniofacial patients to orthognathic surgery while serving as a Chief Resident for the program. During this time, she had the opportunity to be well-trained in the latest treatment techniques and newest technologies, including Cone Bean Computed Tomography (CBCT) and Temporary Anchorage Devices (TADs).

She also earned a Master of Science in Oral and Craniofacial Sciences along with a Certificate in Orthodontics. Recently, she completed The Aligner Intensive Fellowship in an effort to provide the best Invisalign treatment to her patients. Above all, she highly values the trust her patients place in her and always treats them as if they were her own family. When she is not in a practice, you can find Dr. Tun spending time with her family, reading books and trying out exotic foods around the Houston area.
